About

Mohammadreza (Reza) Heidari

I usually work best where backend systems need clearer boundaries, safer integrations, better deployment discipline, or a practical path out of legacy complexity.

Engineering Profile

My work is less about chasing a fashionable stack and more about turning business-critical workflows into systems that are explicit, observable, and maintainable after release.

I am comfortable entering existing codebases, reading the shape of the system first, and making changes that respect the product, the team, and the operational reality around it.

How I Think About Engineering

Make behavior explicit

I prefer clear contracts, traceable use cases, validation, audit trails, and failure paths that support teams can reason about.

Design for production support

Retries, logs, external IDs, idempotency, deployment shape, and diagnostics matter as much as the first successful API response.

Modernize without drama

Legacy systems often need careful seams, preserved workflows, and incremental migration paths rather than a risky rewrite.

Use architecture pragmatically

Clean Architecture, CQRS, and domain boundaries are useful when they reduce complexity, not when they become ceremony.
